Back into 2013, Soat Seang Soong was ZAAP's first concert that held in the concert hall and I was responsible for stage design and construction. Soat Seang Soong, in Thai means high pitch voice and being single. In other words, we implied that if you are single and wanted to scream your lungs out, come the our event. Moreover, the concert featured Thai rock artists who has unique high pitched voice, namely Slot Machine, 25hours and Flure.

 

The concept for the stage design inspired by the belief that the very high frequency of sound can break the glass. I chose to use the random lines to simulate the feeling of the broken glass. I decided to use jagged lines as design elements and represent them through decorations at the background of the stage and Dj booth.
